February 9, 1936 – Edmonton, Alberta – December 2, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Helen Catharine Hume, our beloved wife, grandmother and friend, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the age of 85 years.

Helen was born in and raised in Edmonton and was a faithful Edmontonian; proudly supporting their hockey and football teams until the end.

After graduating from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Education, she moved to Calgary and accepted a position with the Calgary Board of Education to teach there. Helen was passionate about teaching and education; she made many fond memories over her 30 plus years as a teacher.

Helen loved family and children. Her legacy will continue through her husband, her only child, Jocelyn Anne Fraser; four grandchildren and now great-grandchildren.
