Description of Activity:
A Remembrance Day tribute with music from renowned Canadian band The Fugitives.
Mixing stories from the frontlines with live music, Ridge brings one of the deadliest battles of the First World War to life in a new, visceral way. Calgarian Brendan McLeod explores the misconceptions and various perspectives surrounding the battle of Vimy Ridge, tying it to other formative events in our nation’s past and asking difficult yet necessary questions about how and why we grieve.
