Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation – Free Four-Part Series
Please join me online for a 4–week interactive Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation.
Classes will be 1.5 hours on Zoom on four consecutive Sundays from 10:30 a.m. until noon with each session building on the last. Each session will include an overview of mindfulness practice, a guided meditation, suggestions for daily practice and Q & A
These practices are based on Buddhist teachings on mindfulness meditation but it does not preclude those of other backgrounds from accessing these practical teachings. This course is being offered for free as part of my practicum as I work toward my meditation teacher certification. The only thing I ask in return is that you complete a survey at the end of the course. I am looking for ten individuals who are able to commit to all four classes.
Class Times – 10:30 to Noon on Zoom
Class #1: Sunday August 21st
Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation, Mindfulness of the Body including the Breath
Class#2: Sunday, August 28th
Working Skillfully with Difficult Thoughts and Emotions
Class #3: Sunday, September 11th
Class #4: Sunday, September 18th
