Exploring Plants and Birds at Weaselhead Flats
Description of Activity:
Participants will engage in observation and interaction with the plants and animals of the Weaselhead Flats. They will observe and listen for birds in multiple biomes, including grasslands, aspen forest, and riparian habitats, while also studying the plant life that supports these bird species and their ecosystems. Along the way, participants will enjoy a relaxing refreshment break featuring water, fresh fruit, and pastries — a perfect opportunity to pause, connect with fellow nature enthusiasts, and take in the beauty of the surroundings
